These are the songs that survived the fire; in some ways, passing through the portal to be reborn out of ashes.

A collaboration between Herijuana Jack and Mendoman, these songs were salvaged after the Tubbs Fire destroyed portions of Sonoma and Napa Counties. Prior to the fire, the pair were working on a full-length album to be released in early 2018. Sadly, none of the songs were backed up on the cloud – except for four rough mixes conveniently shared via Dropbox, which is what this EP is comprised of. Also salvaged were all of the stems for September Song which enabled us to reach out to Squelchy and Symbolized for their reinterpretations.

Creative Sonoma is dedicated to advancing and supporting the creative community of Sonoma County. The Creative Sonoma Recovery Fund has been established to provide relief to Sonoma County artists and creative residents who have been directly affected by the fires. If you choose to purchase the songs, 100% of the proceeds will be donated to the Creative Sonoma Recovery Fund. Releasing these songs and using them to help career artists displaced by the fire is part of a healing process.
